Mike has 25+ experience developing solutions and architectures, leading and delivering business and technology re-engineering and transformation engagements. His prime focus is working with Financial Services clients, researching their current and future business challenges and how digital technologies can address these, aligned with governance and risk management. He has a detailed understanding of business drivers, cost, regulation, driving operational efficiencies, and the impact of digital and disruptive transformation on business. He has been engaged as an advisor to a number of CIO, CTO, and COO, bridging business, technology & innovation.
Mike is co-author of a book on Operational Risk, and has presented at conferences in the UK on IT
Optimisation, Operational Risk, IT Service Management and Cloud Sourcing. He has had a number of patents published. He is a Fellow of the British Computing Society, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and a Chartered Engineer.
He has a MSc Degree in IT from Loughborough University, and BSc 2.1 Honours Degree in General Engineering and Business from the University of Surrey.
